Louis Gregory Bahá’í Institute, nearing its fourth decade of service, has long been in need of renovation. The Kingdom Project helped restore the Institute to a brighter, warmer, completely remodeled campus that will be an outstanding credit to the Faith for many years to come.
Improvements included:
- New, long-lasting roofs on most buildings greatly improving the fuel efficiency and initial appearance of the facility
- Brightly painted walls in place of the old wood paneling
- New carpeting throughout
- New furniture, including oak bunk beds and wardrobes in the dorms
- Updated and code-compliant electrical systems
- Central air conditioning
- Complete kitchen renovation for high standards of cleanliness and food preparation
- The library also serves as a comfortable reading room, with an adjoining prayer room.
The extensive remodeling on four buildings at the venerable Louis G. Gregory Bahá’í Institute (LGI) is part of its transformation into a full-service community center.
